Writivism Literary Initiative 2017 Creative Writing Mentoring for Emerging African Writers

Writivism Literary Initiative is satisfied to declare that 2017 web based Mentoring Program is currently open for applications. A venture of the Center for African Cultural Excellence, Writivism recognizes, guides, distributes and advances developing African essayists inhabitant in any nation on the African mainland.

Presently, in its fifth year, the Writivism program gives internet coaching to developing scholars of fiction and imaginative writings. A developing author is characterized as one who is yet to distribute a book. The tutoring will include the rising essayist sending their work to the coach (a distributed or honor winning African author), who will give input on how the function can be progressed.

The developing essayist will chip away at their story under the tutor’s direction. All stories created amid the tutoring will be consequently entered for the 2017 Writivism Short Story and Koffi Addo Prizes. Past mentees can apply to take an interest in the program insofar as they have not yet distributed a book.
