Every year, the Utrecht Excellence Scholarship offers several intelligent and talented prospective students from non EEA|EU countries the chance to enroll for a degree in certain number of courses at the Utrecht University in the Netherlands.
ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP
The Utrecht Excellence Scholarship was established by Utrecht University. Finance for the scholarship comes from the Utrecht Excellence Scholarship Fund as well as contributions from Utrecht University alumni.
About 55 scholarships are awarded every year for undergraduate and graduate programs respectively. The scholarships are awarded for the duration of the programs which for a bachelor’s degree is a maximum of three years and two years for a master’s degree.
A major benefit of the scholarship is that successful students will be awarded maximum tuition fee along with 11,000 pounds to cover living expenses per year. Students though should note that this should not be considered as a full scholarship as they may need to provide more funding to completely take care of their study and stay.
Scholarships will only be renewed for the second or third year as the case may be if students show remarkable progress while pursing the degree.
Considering the scholarship is highly competitive, only candidates having the best purpose and prospect may be given the scholarship. Applicants should meet the following requirements
