The University of Alberta is offering lots of scholarships to international students who wish to enroll for an undergraduate program in the university. Scholarship worth $22million will be awarded for the 2016/2017 academic year.
In order to attract top students, the University of Alberta offers more than $22 million in undergraduate scholarships to outstanding international students. Scholarships are awarded annually to students on study permit who are entering an undergraduate degree program. Some of these scholarships require separate application while you’ll be considered for the other scholarships after you have received admission to the University.
To qualify for this scholarship, applicants should meet the following requirements;
- Applicant must be students on study permit who are entering an undergraduate degree program at the University of Alberta from high school on the basis of top academic standing in grades 10, 11, and 12.
- Receipt of funding for the second, third, and fourth years is contingent upon achieving a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a full normal course load at the University of Alberta each year.

How to apply
The mode of application is online. Students must use the CCID and password to access the awards application which they have received when they have applied for admission. References will have to be completed and submitted online through a secure site. References must be completed by 11:59 pm MST December 15, 2015.
