Germany is certainly at the top of the list of almost anybody’s most preferred study abroad locations in Europe. In addition to the above reasons to study in Germany, below are further reasons why choosing a Master’s degree program in Germany is a splendid idea
1. Engineering faculties in Germany collaborate closely with top firms and corporation linked to the engineering field. This ensures students have vital on-field experience by the time they graduate.
2. There are a variety of engineering programs to chose from. Almost all the important niches in engineering are offered at the Master’s degree level in Germany. The problem for students would be what course to specialize in since there are so many courses.
3. The economy in Germany is primarily powered by big manufacturing and construction companies that require the services of engineers. So getting a job after graduation, if you have the right documentation, would be relatively easy.
As an international student, you would be allowed to work part-time for up to 720 hours in a year with jobs paying up to 8 euros an hour easy to come by.
4. Due to the expansion of the economy, especially the technology sector, there is a shortage of skilled workers in information technology and engineering in general.

Cost of living in Germany
Even though the German Economy is strong with a strong stable currency, the dutche mark, the cost of living is comparatively low when compared to places like the UK, and some Scandinavian countries like Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland.
Coupled with the low cost of living is one of the highest standards of living that can be found anywhere in the world. To get such a high standard of living, a student can live on about 350 Euros per month in some smaller German cities.
Students with valid international students cards are also entitled to discounts on transportation, museums, concerts and so on.
