Admission into Japanese University

The stages in getting admitted into university in Japan progresses from relating your academic needs to your choice of university and then getting all final documentations from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Most universities in Japan will conduct entrance examination for students who had personally financed themselves.

1. Proof of completion of 12 years’ formal education in your own country with transcripts
2. The Japanese government or University will not admit students with immigration issues. So you had better stay off it

VISA
Once you get your confirmation of admission into any Japanese University, you will be required to:
-Complete the filling of an eligibility certificate form
-Tender your international passport (which haven’t expired)
– Proof of fund availably sufficient for your studies
After all documents may have been submitted, then the international student office will submit your eligibility form to the immigration office in Japan. That’s not all there is.
After you’ve received your eligibility certification from your chosen Japanese university, you will then need to visit the Japanese embassy in your home country where you will submit:
– 1 passport photo
– international passport
– Documents for your student visa
– Application materials for your visa
– Original certificate of eligibility
