Apart from the stress in preparing and writing IELTS, it is expensive. Most Canadian universities require non-native speakers to provide a test score such as IELTS with at least 5.5 bands which many international students find challenging. With a sigh of relief, did you know that you can study in Canada without IELTS? Join me as I list some Canadian universities that do not require IELTS from international students.
Canada and other English-speaking countries demand that students who are native English speakers write this language test to access their speaking, writing, hearing and listing skills, although, it is a prerequisite, but not a general rule for all the schools due to the current coronavirus pandemic where some countries are still experiencing an upsurge.
IELTS may not be required, for some schools especially if you had your previous education in the English language, with the results/certificate also in English, but, you must provide other entrance requirements to be considered for admission.
While some schools in Canada may ignore an IELTS as part of the admission requirements, there is a possibility that you must enrol for a language course over there which seem easier. Let’s take a look at Canadian universities where you can study without IELTS.
