The University of Wollongong in Australia, is currently accepting applications for its PhD scholarship that is available in the School of Mathematics and Applied Statistics (SMAS) This scholarship is open to Australian and international students.
The University of Wollongong is an Australian public research university located in the coastal city of Wollongong, New South Wales, approximately 80 kilometres south of Sydney. It is a research-intensive university with an outstanding reputation for its learning environments across a broad range of disciplines.
Degree Level: Scholarship is available to pursue PhD programme.
Available Subject: Scholarship is awarded in the School of Mathematics and Applied Statistics (SMAS) at the University of Wollongong in the area of spatiotemporal modelling of environmental phenomena using techniques inspired by machine learning.
Scholarship Benefits: The UOW scholarship is AUD$26 300 per year for three years full time. An additional top-up scholarship of AUD$3,700 per year for three years full time is also available for outstanding candidates. Tuition fees for international students (for up to 4.5 years) will be waived.
