NSCAD University (Nova Scotia College of Arts and Design) is an art and design institution located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Founded in 1887. Ever since the school was established, it has evolved as one of the best Canadian schools for arts and design.
In 1973, NSCAD began to offer graduate programs. The school offers three undergraduate programs and also has three post-baccalaureate programs in Visual arts and design and Graduate programs. The undergraduate programs include; bachelors of Arts, Bachelor of Design and Bachelor of Fine Arts with other majors and minors such as media arts, textiles and fashion, animation and jewellery design.

Candidates, who do not meet NSCAD’s English Language Proficiency Requirement, can join one of the pathway programs offered by the university partner Halifax language schools.
