ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP
International students from non EEA countries are eligible for the scholarship. The university aims to provide scholarships to students who require financial assistance and is also meant for students who are highly intelligent and have excellent results.
The scholarship has some benefits and successful applicants will have the following:
Tuition fee waiver and other expenses of residence permit, visa costs, health insurance and liability insurance which costs about 700 Euros.
FIELD OF STUDY
Scholarships are awarded for following courses: Social and Cultural Science: Comparative Research on Societies, Cognitive Neuroscience, Anthropology and Development Studies, Pedagogical Sciences, Language and Communication, Historical Studies, Literary Studies, Arts and Visual Culture, Philosophy, Behavioural Science, Artificial Intelligence, Molecular Life Sciences, Science, Mathematics, Computing Science, Information Sciences, European Law, Cognitive Neuroscience, Anthropology and Development Studies, Pedagogical Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Molecular Mechanisms of Disease, Chemistry, Physics & Astronomy, Biology, Medical Biology
Candidates who are interested in the scholarship should meet the following requirements to be eligible for the program:
Should have a non EEA/EU passport
Should not have obtained a degree in the Netherlands
Should have obtained a bachelor’s degree outside the Netherlands which should be equivalent to a Dutch bachelor degree
Should have gained admission fully to the Master’s degree program taught in English as stated in the formal letter of admission
Should be able to meet and fulfil the requirements and conditions for obtaining a visa to the Netherland
Applicant should apply for a master’s program which should be similar or be in the same area as their previous study or education
To be able to be eligible for the scholarship program, applicants need to be fluent in both spoken and written English. Non-native English speakers will need one of the following:
IELTS score of 7.0 and Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) or Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) with a C mark or more.
A TOEFL score of 250 which is computer based or 100 which is internet based or 600 which is paper based
Along with your application, the following documents should be submitted: bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, motivation letter, transcripts, valid passport or ID card, English language certificate and handling fee.
