Would you like to do your research or study for a postgraduate, masters or doctorate? The Organization of American States (OAS) opened annual grants program in which Colombian professionals can participate. These scholarships have a duration of one to two years and will cover an amount of up to $ 30,000 for expenses and transportation study.

Those who are selected will be able to study full time at any member University Consortium of Universities of the OAS , in which institutions from 18 member states of the organization, including the United States, Canada, Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay are.

Colombian applicants must be admitted to the university of their choice (which can not be from their own country) to study a program that fits their needs and interests. The learning mode can be presential, distance or a combination of both according to the preference of the candidate. In addition, the subject of the investigation or graduate must be linked to one of the priority areas of the OAS , which exclude medical sciences and learning of foreign languages.

 

Who can apply?

Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of a Member State of the OAS, hold a university degree and present a higher than average academic average. At the same time, it is essential to have a good state of physical and mental health that allows them to finish their studies successfully and to return to the country once the experience has been completed.
