La Trobe’s Excellence Scholarship (AES) is now open for application. This scholarship targets high achieving international students who intend to enroll for an undergraduate or course work programs. It’s worth $10,000 to $20,000.
If you have excellent results in your academics and you don’t have the resources to go for further studies abroad, La Trobe’s Excellence Scholarship is for you. You first need to apply for admission into the university, receive an offer before you can submit the scholarship application. The scholarship will cover tuition fees worth $10,000 to $20,000 and will be paid across two semesters.
Applicants must meet the following requirements before applying for this scholarship:
- You must be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand and be applying to start an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program.
- You must also have scored 85% or equivalent in your previous degree/award, and meet our English language and academic entry requirements.
- You are not eligible if you are starting a Higher Degree by Research, exchange program, Study Abroad program, ELICOS and Foundation Studies program, or Diploma course.
Fields of study
The scholarship will cover all undergraduate and postgraduate course work program at La Trobe University, Australia.
What the scholarship covers
The scholarship is worth $10,000 to $20,000 and will cover tuition fees which will be paid across a maximum of two semesters (12 months). If you receive this scholarship, you still need to pay for any difference in fees for your first two semesters, fees for the rest of your course, and your Overseas Student Health Cover. To continue receiving your scholarship into your second semester, you must maintain a C grade average.

You must first apply for admission into La Trobe University and receive an offer.
