ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship was created in memory of Professor Denys Holland; he was a Professor of law and dean of students and was interested in the well being of his students. Through the donations from his students the scholarship was set up and created.
The scholarship is meant for students who are willing and interested in enrolling for undergraduate degree level courses at the University College London where courses will be taken.
The scholarship is meant to offer assistance to undergraduate students from all over the world, from any country that will require or are in need of financial support to be able to pursue and further their education.
The duration of the scholarship is for one year but can be extended for up to three years if the student shows and maintains good academic performance and standard every year.
The scholarship has the benefit of 9000 pounds, which will be given yearly and the students may decide to use all or some of the money from the scholarship to take care of the tuition fees. Also if there is any amount remaining it will be paid to the student as an allowance to take care of certain costs.
Note: Applicants will be selected based on the level of financial support or assistance needed and also if applicants show willingness to take part in the activities of the University College London and its student union.
FIELD OF STUDY
Scholarships are awarded for courses available and offered at the University College London.
Applicants will need to show that they require or are in need of financial support to be able to pursue and further their education and without such support or assistance they will not be able to attend the University College London.
Applicants should not be more than 25 years old when they are about to start their course.
Applicants should show willingness to take part in the activities of the University College London
