Application is now open for the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation scholarship. Over 300 scholarships will be given to undergraduate students in the USA. The Dell Scholars Program places greater emphasis on student’s determination to succeed than just academic record or test scores. Successful Dell Scholars will be given up to $20,000 for their higher education over a period of six years. Scholars will also be provided with technology, a private scholar networking community, resources and mentoring to ensure they have the support they need to achieve their college degrees.
To apply for for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Graduating from an accredited high school this academic year
- Earning a minimum of a 2.4 GPA
- Demonstrated need for financial assistance
- Eligible to receive federal student aid
- Planning to enroll full-time in a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited higher education institution in the fall directly after your graduation from high school
Note that selection of scholars for the award will be based on the following;
Individual determination to succeed
-Future goals and plans to achieve them
Ability to communicate the hardships you have overcome or currently face
-Self motivation in completing challenging coursework
-Demonstrated need for financial assistance
Field of study
Scholarship is provided to study any approved college readiness program or courses offered by accredited higher education institutions in USA at the undergraduate level.
