Cambridge European Trust (CET) offers UK and EU scholarship scheme at University of Cambridge in UK. UK and EU applicants for MPhil/PhD (including EdD) will be automatically considered for CHESS (formerly DRS) if they have applied for admission by 10 January 2014. Applicants must have applied for an award from a UK Research Council (such as the AHRC) if they are eligible. There are approximately 75 Awards available. Application should be submitted till 10 January 2014. Scholarships are provided to learn any of the courses offered by the University of Cambridge in UK

Cambridge European Trust (CET)
Cambridge Home and EU Scholarships are open to UK and EU students studying for an MPhil or PhD. Applicants must have applied for an award from a UK Research Council (such as the AHRC) if they are eligible.
The scholarship is open to the students of UK and EU (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and UK.

How to apply
There is no separate application form. In February, the Student Registry will submit a list of all eligible candidates to the relevant departments/faculties. The first round of assessment happens at department level and departments nominate students to the competition, administered at the Student Registry.
Start of April – successful students notified by Student Registry. If candidates have not received an offer by end April, they should assume that their application for a CHESS award has not been successful.
