Students from sub-Sahara Africa are been offered scholarships by Duke University , USA in partnership with Master Card foundation Scholars Program to aid growth and development. Applications are expected for 2015/2016 MasterCard Foundation Scholar Program at Duke.
ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP
Duke University is aware of the importance of education in aiding economic and social development. They have therefore tailored their program towards creating leaders for the world environment. Through this program candidates have the opportunity of working with professors who have years of experience In Africa leading projects. The MasterCard foundation scholars are given a great platform to excel, this can be achieved through classes that bring out the best in them, opportunities to research and with programs that are made specifically to suit the needs of the candidates.
A major benefit that Duke University offers its MasterCard Foundation Scholars is the amount of opportunities and resources available not only to the scholars themselves but as well as their families. This is why Duke University is very happy to be part of a few selected Institutions involved in the program’s first year.

HOW TO APPLY
Students interested in the program, will first have to apply to Duke University before been considered for the MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program.
