The University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom is offering students from Africa, India and commonwealth countries the Developing Solutions Masters Scholarships.
ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship was established for students who will like to make a difference and impact to the development of their home countries.The scholarship has been offered since 2002 and the University is presently offering 105 scholarships with thirty students offered full tuition fee while the other 75 students will be offered 50% of their tuition fees.
The scholarship is offered every year and is designed to last for the duration of the master’s program which is one year.
ELIGIBILITY
- To be eligible for the scholarships, applicants should meet the following requirements
- Should be a citizen or a permanent resident in Africa, India or one of the commonwealth countries
- Will be considered as a student from overseas for fee purposes
- Should not have studied outside their home country before
- Should not be a graduate of the University of Nottingham
- Should not be presently studying at a campus of the University of Nottingham
- Should not have an offer to begin a full time master’s program at University of Nottingham in September 2016 in any of the following courses stated below:
Faculty of Science, Faculty of Social Science, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences
Applicants or candidates from the following countries are eligible for the scholarship, they include:
Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tristan da Cunha, Turks and Caicos, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Western SamoaAnguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Brunei, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Falkland Islands, Fiji, Gibraltar, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Kiribati, Malaysia, Maldives, Montserrat,Nauru, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Pitcairn, St Helena, St Kitts and Nevis, St Luciaand St Vincent
