Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) is awarding scholarships to qualified Niger Deltans to pursue postgraduate study abroad
ABOUT THE NDDC SCHOLARSHIP
With its plans of developing human resources, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has set up a Post- Graduate Foreign scholarship Programme to provide Niger Deltans with required skills and training to enable them take part in the Local Content programme of the present Administration and also to participate effectively Worldwide in numerous professional fields.
The programme is meant for applicants with Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from well known Universities.
FIELD OF STUDY
The scholarship covers the following professional fields: Geosciences, Agriculture, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Project Management, Geology, Environmental or Gas/Oil law, Computer Science/Technology and Medical Sciences excluding Public Health (M.Sc.).
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants interested in enrolling for a Master’s programme should have a First Degree with at least a 2nd Class Lower Division from a well known University
Applicants interested in enrolling for a PhD programme should have a Master’s degree from a well known University
Should have been offered admission from a Foreign University in any of the professional fields listed above
Applicants who are already studying in a foreign University are not eligible
A guarantor letter, stating good personality of the applicant from any of the following people who come from the applicant’s town/community
High court judge
Local government chairman
A first class traditional ruler
A Member of the National Assembly
Applicants should not have a criminal record
Applicants should have a valid letter of admission from a Foreign University
Applicants should have finished the compulsory National Youth Service (NYSC)

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE NDDC 2015 SCHOLARSHIP
Applications are done online and should include the following
Recent passport photograph
Letter of identification from the Local government
Degrees from well known Universities
Admission letter from a Foreign University
National Youth Service (NYSC) discharge certificate
Filled application form which be given a registration number immediately
For easy reference, the hard copy of the online generated acknowledgement should be printed

Pls I want to know if I can apply for project management with my Bsc in banking and finance, as project management was also among my core courses in my final year. Hi UnyeAwaji Nteogwuija,it’s the school that will determine if your Bsc result qualifies you for a master degree in Project management. But in most cases, schools accept Bsc results that is related to the MSc program the applicant chooses to study.
