The United Nation University is now offering Scholarship to exceptional individuals from developing countries to pursue any MSc degree program in Japan. The Scholarship worth 150,000 JPY (Japanese Yen) shall be awarded for a period of 24 months to help carter for the Living expenses. Successful applicants shall be granted tuition waivers. There is no special application process for the JFUNU scholarship as academically outstanding applicants with limited finances shall be automatically considered for the Scholarship.
Brief Description of Scholarship
The JFUNU offers hands on experience to students through intensive practical learning, empowering them (students) to solve problems and provide solutions for sustainability related issues. The Scholarship is opened to fresh graduates and industry professionals and practitioners seeking opportunities to gain valuable skills that will enable them make significant contributions civil societies, their government, the private sector and as well as the United Nation. In the course of the Scholarship program, methods and resources shall be integrated through innovative approaches.

- Requirements to be eligible for the Scholarship
To be considered for the Scholarship, Applicants are expected to meet the followings
- A CGPA not less than 3.5 on a 4.0 scale at undergraduate studies
- Prove of proficiency in English Language
- Must meet the following minimum score for any English proficiency test: 100 in TOEFL internet based test, 7.0 in IELTS, and 600 in TOEFL Paper based test.
- Passionate about sustainability studies
- Must have completed an Undergraduate study at a recognized University on or before September 2015
