CIAPS is offering commonwealth scholarships for one-year postgraduate study at CIAPS for 2013-14 entry. Scholarships are available for Commonwealth citizens or the residents in a developing Commonwealth country. Applicants must hold a first degree of at least upper second-class standard or higher qualification. There are a total of fifty (50) scholarships available, worth a total of Ten Million Naira (N10 000 000). Every successful applicant can receive up to Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (N250,000) towards his or her tuition fees at CIAPS for the duration of the one-year postgraduate study. The application deadline is 5th of November 2013.

CIAPS is dedicated to the advancement of knowledge, learning and understanding in the service of society. We look for students who are pursuing higher learning so that they can play a part in making their societies and the world a better place.
Students residents in a developing Commonwealth country (Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, Botswana, British Virgin Islands, Cameroon, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Falkland Islands, Fiji, The Gambia, Ghana, Gibraltar, Grenada, Guyana, India, Jamaica, Kenya, Kiribati, Lesotho, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Montserrat, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, Nigeria, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Pitcairn Islands, Rwanda, St Helena, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and The Grenadines, Samoa, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Swaziland, Tanzania, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tristan da Cunha, Turks and Caicos, Islands, Tuvalu, Uganda, Vanuatu, Zambia and Zimbabwe) and Refugees or people working with organizations linked with developing Commonwealth countries can apply for this scholarship.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible to apply students must:
-Hold a first degree of at least lower second-class standard, or higher qualification.
-Have been offered and accepted his or her offer of a place at CIAPS, 2013/14 entry.
-Be Commonwealth citizens or be residents in a developing Commonwealth country.
-Refugees or people working with organisations linked with developing Commonwealth countries are also considered

Step 2: Carefully compose your Supporting Statement (remember the 1000 word limit).
Step 3: Email your carefully composed supporting statement to scholarship-at-ciaps.org in word or PDF format from the email address on your scholarship application form
