University of Melbourne Australia is accepting applications from international students for its Melbourne International research scholarships (MIRS).
ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship is awarded to international students who want to enroll for graduate research degree studies such as PhD, master’s by research and other doctorate research at University of Melbourne Australia. The program will last for two years for students taking a master by research degree and three years for students taking doctorate by research degree which could also be extended by six months.
The University provides about 150 scholarships annually. The scholarship includes the following
An allowance for moving to Melbourne from within or outside the country
Student overseas health policy
Allowance for thesis
Living expenses allowance given every two weeks
FIELD OF STUDY
Scholarship is provided for all courses offered at University of Melbourne Australia
Should not be a citizen of Australia (including Australian permanent resident) and New Zealand
Should be registered in a research degree at the University of Melbourne or should have applied for admission for a master or doctorate by research degree.
Should have finished tertiary education and obtained a first class honour degree which is equivalent to a degree at an Australian University
Applicants are selected based on the following
Academic accomplishments of their last completed degree
How good applicants are in their research studies
