The Emile-Boutmy scholarship for International Students in France, 2015

Sciences PoSciences Po is awarding the Emile Boutmy scholarship to qualified international students to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate study programs. The scholarship will only be offered to top students whose profiles match the admissions priorities of Sciences Po and individual course requirements.

About scholarship 

The Emile Boutmy Scholarship was created by Sciences Po and named after the founder of Sciences Po (1871) in order to welcome the very best international students from outside of the European Union. The scholarship will cover a tuition grant of upto €7,300 per year for undergraduate study and 5000 to 10,000 per year for master’s program. About €5000 to €6000 will also be given to cover part of the living expenses.

Eligibility

  • You must be first time applicant.
  • Must be an international student from anon-European Union state, whose household does not file taxes within the European Union.
  • Must be admitted to the Undergraduate or Master’s programme.

You are not eligible if;

  • You are Swiss and Norwegian applicants, since they may be entitled to CROUS scholarships.
  • If you have dual citizenship, including from a European Union state.
  • You are from Quebec (since they may take advantage of sliding scale fees same as European applicants).
  • You are a D. programme students (thesis).
  • You are a Candidate to the Master in Development Practice.
  • You are a Candidate to the 1-year Fast Track : Financial Regulation and Risk Management.

What the scholarship covers for undergraduate study

The scholarship can take the following forms;

 

  • A tuition grant of €7,300 per year for the three years of the undergraduate programme, in addition to a grant to cover part of the cost of living of €5000 per year.
  • A tuition grant of €7,300 per year for the three years of the undergraduate programme.
  • A tuition grant of €5,000 per year for the three years of the undergraduate programme.
  • A tuition grant of €3,000 per year for the three years of the undergraduate programme.

For Masters Study

The scholarship can take the following forms;

  • A total of €10,000 per year to cover tuition fees for the two years of the Masters, in addition to a grant to cover part of the cost of living of €6,000 per year.
  • A tuition grant of €10,000 per year for the two years of the Masters.
  • A tuition grant of €5,000 per year for the two years of the Masters.
