Low Tuition Universities in Africa

Africa is a vital world region. Africa is a huge continent hosting 50 countries, with different tribes and languages. There are several top universities that international students can choose from. University of Cape Town

The University of Cape Town besides being one of the oldest institutions on the continent. It was founded in 1929 and is located on the slopes of the beautiful Table Mountain.It has a total student enrolment of 30,000 with 4,000 being international students. Cairo University           

Cairo University founded in 1908 is actually located in Gaza and not Cairo which is 20 km South West of Cairo.This University is fifth ranked in Africa and has a total student enrolment of 155,000.While 7,000 hail from other parts of the world.

University of Witwatersrand(Wits)

This University is ranked in the top 400 best universities in the world. It is located in South Africa and has 5 campuses in Johannesburg. There are over 30,000 students with 2,500 accounting for international students.

Some of the faculties are: Commerce, Law, and Management, Health Sciences,Engineering and Built Environment to meantion but a few.

American University of Cairo

The American University of Cairo located in Egypt was founded in 1919 and is a top university in the country.It has total student enrolment of 6,000.The english based University has the distinction for having the best and biggest Library in the country. It offers bachelors, masters and postgraduate degrees in Business, Humanities, Social Sciences, Global Affairs and Engineering etc.

Stellenbosch University

This University is ranked in the top 400 universities in the world. Founded in  1918, Stellenbosch University has a total student enrolment of 30,000 with close to 3000 of these being international students.

Both undergraduate and Postgraduate students can select courses from  Arts, Social Sciences, Science, Education,Law and Engineering etc.
