The IWMF is presently receiving applications for a Reporting Fellowship to Tanzania, to occur in August 2017. As a major aspect of the African Great Lakes Reporting Initiative, a gathering of six columnists will report from Zanzibar, a semi-self-ruling island off the east bank of Tanzania territory, covering stories identified with the trek topic of metro engagement.
Candidates are requested to pitch stories significant to the trek area and subject; stories must concentrate on inside and out and new accounts and be prominently unique in relation to those written in past Fellowships. We will organize applications with innovative, astute, and unique pitches.

ABOUT THE REPORTING TRIP TO TANZANIA:
Colleagues will start their outing in Nairobi, Kenya, where they will finish an introduction and Hostile Environments and First Aid Training (HEFAT) August 6-9. They then leave for eight days of in-nation work August 10-19 in Zanzibar, Tanzania. Colleagues will have the chance to connect with different columnists, report autonomously and cooperatively with their companions, and access an assortment of sources and locales identified with their revealing.
TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS AND EXPENSES:
The IWMF masterminds travel and in-nation coordinations for all Fellows inside the extent of the Fellowship base area and excursion dates.
