Agip Oil Company Scholarship for Nigerian Undergraduate Students, 2015

Agip2The Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited (NAOC) as part of its community development program is accepting applications from interested candidates for its Tertiary Institutions scholarship awards scheme.

ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP

The scholarship is for studies at undergraduate level to be taken at accredited universities in Nigeria. The scholarship has the following categories:

National Merit Awards: These are for applicants from non-host communities

Host Communities Merit Awards: This are only for applicants from NAOC host communities

FIELD OF STUDY

For the Host Communities Merit Awards, scholarships are awarded to study any course

For the National Merit Awards, scholarships are awarded to study geology, engineering and geoscience courses.

ELIGIBILITY

Should be a citizen of Nigeria

Should be an admitted undergraduate in a Nigerian tetiary Institution

When applying should be a 100 level student

Applicants who are already involved with similar scholarships are not eligible

NAOC, AENR, NAE employee dependants are not eligible

200 level students and above are not eligible

Only indigenes from NAOC host communities in Imo, Delta, Rivers and Bayelsa States are eligible for the Host Communities Merit Awards

Only candidates studying geology, engineering and geoscience courses are eligible for the National Merit Awards

HOW TO APPLY

Applications are done online with the following scanned documents attached:

Recent passport photograph

Admission letter

Birth certificate

School identity card

Jamb result

Evidence of Local government origin
