Scholarships are been awarded to interested students for pursuing MBA courses at INSEAD campuses. The scholarships are meant for students from Africa although applicants or candidates who can show that they are in need of financial assistance will be given consideration
ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP
Sam Akiwumi’s friends and family, class mates from his class of 2007, INSEAD staff and former workers have all made contributions to this scholarship fund as a way of remembering Sam Akinwumi who died the year he was at INSEAD. He is of dual nationality, a Ghana and UK citizen. The scholarship was set up for African students, although a lot of consideration will be given to students from Ghana and applicants who show they need financial support.
The scholarship will award 10,000 pounds to successful candidates.
The scholarship is given based on the amount of financial support and assistance an applicant will require.
Students from the following countries have a chance of obtaining the scholarship
Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Western Sahara, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Zambia , Zimbabwe Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Ivory Coast and Djibouti.
FIELD OF STUDY
Scholarships are awarded for all courses at masters level available at INSEED schools.
The scholarship is for African students to enroll for master’s program also a lot of consideration will be given to students from Ghana and applicants who show they need financial support.
